Bishop L.J. Guillory is a man who can make a difference

Bishop L.J. Guillory of California is a man who can make a difference in an age when politicians who really care about the people they are elected to serve are few and far between.

At a time in our nation’s history when this worldly, wildly materialistic and self serving, Me First Generation seems to be calling the shots and when society seems hell bent on a collision course, headed toward disaster, along comes a man who has a purpose in life…a selfless, natural born leader, an advocate of the people, by the people and for the people (all the people not just a chosen few who contributed or who will kick back).

No, L.J. Guillory, California’s candidate for the 37th Congressional District is a refreshing, new face in the political arena…one who will fight for just causes, advocate for the poor and disenfranchised, campaign for honesty and integrity in government and help all Californians and all Americans get ahead and put the bad times and the sad times behind U.S. At the same time he can be counted on not to compromise his morals, judgment, ethical and spiritual principles just to be popular or to get elected. Bishop Guillory whom I have come to know and respect is a crusader for the truth for equality, for fairness and for justice for his constituents, but most of all he is a Servant with a Capital “S.” “Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth.” Bishop Guillory was brought up with this truth always in mind. This is what is meant by living a purpose filled life. If you serve only your self you are selfish and self centered. “Believe it or not, it’s not what you’ve got, it’s what you got to give that counts”. This maxim as written in a song sung by the Late great John Whitehead of Ain’t No Stoppin’ Us Now fame is L.J Guillory’s motto and words to live by.

What goes around comes around and a leader like L.J. Guillory does not come around very often.

We are living in a time of wars, rumors of wars, violence, drugs and terrorism. if we are to solve these social ills, as a nation and obtain the Victory, we need to get back on track. UNITED WE STAND, Divided we fall. We must once again remember the values that made us strong.

We are One Nation Under God and Liberty and Justice will not be attainable unless we stand together united as a People of God against the enemies of freedom and justice. Bishop L.J. Guillory is one man who will make a difference if given the chance. Let’s all get behind him and ahead of the obstacles we face together and change our circumstances for the better. As President of Let Freedom of the Vietnam War in Southeast Asia. Family members of POWs and MIAs have for decades been fighting the Socialist government of Vietnam and our own government to end the cover up of the truth that live American pilots were abandoned by their fellow Americans in the position of leadership for reasons of political expediency.

SOME STILL SURVIVE! Bishop Guillory for one is fighting for the cause of freedom, as he will, I am sure on other important issues of the day affecting Californians and all Americans. I say give your support to L.J. and tomorrow will bring a better brighter day.

Bishop Guillory First to File to Run for the 37th District

Republican candidate Bishop "L.J." Guillory, who was one of the first to file, was at the Registrar-Recorder's office at the 5:00 p.m. deadline to see what other Republicans he'll face...and said he'd announced plans to challenge incumbent Dem Mil- lender-McDonald before her passing. "I'm not a Republican in the mold of [Supreme Court Justice] Clarence Thomas," Bishop Guillory told LBReport.com. "I'm a Republican in the tradition of [slavery abolitionist] Frederick Douglas, letting voters liberate themselves from Democrat politicians who've taken our votes for granted."

But what about the district's disproportionately Dem voter registration, we asked? "This is a fight for the grassroots, for the voters and against the system," Bishop Guillory said.

Why as a Democrat, I Support Guillory for the 37th Congressional District

I support Guillory for Congress because I am tired of all the lies coming out of Washington. I want to be protected from the high price of gas, and watching the oil companies making obscene profits. I want to be able to eat safe food that was inspected by the U.S.D.A. I want someone to represent me for a change and not big business. I want my Social Security retirement protected so I won’t have to eat dog food in my later years. I want someone to look into these high electric bills and telephone bills. I want someone who will find out where all that free Iraqi oil has gone for the last four years, what company got the contract, and how.

These are just some of the reasons I support Guillory for Congress. Guillory has all the qualifications and guts to seek out these issues and more. It is time we realized we are not better off today than we were five years ago. We need a Congressman who represents us for a change. Guillory is that change. If you are like me, you are tired of these same weak elected officials that run for office and then do nothing for their constituents. They forget why they were elected, and just join the club of rubber stamping whatever legislation any corporation willing to pay into their Political Action Committee (PAC) brings to them. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. We need people who are willing to take on this corrupt system head on, and in Guillory, we have found one such individual.

I have witnessed Bishop Guillory, as the Ombudsman General for Ombudsman International, take on corrupt politicians, rogue police officers, and the system to ensure justice prevails for those who have been caught up in the game of corruption.

I have known Bishop Guillory since he was 12 years old. Even then I knew he was a strong willed young man. Because of his strength, I recruited him to become a Youth Commissioner for the City of Lynwood, President of the Lynwood Jaycees, and as he got older, my Deputy. POLITICAL PRISONER I was proud of Guillory as he became involved in the injustice given to Latasha Harlin and his attempt to recall two Judges from the Compton Courts. He went to one of the Judges house to serve her the recall papers. None of the other elected officials had the guts to do that, not even me. I was beaming with pride as his strength showed how strong he really was. The Judges got their vengeance on Guillory as he was framed and wrongfully convicted for a number of crimes he did not commit. He was shackled and taken back to the Compton Courthouse for his trial. The Judges would not give him a change of venue so he could have a fair trial, and we all knew why. They took away eight and a half years of his young life. Just as they had done with Mandella. Guillory was truly a political prisoner. When he was released, he held his head high and began his quest of ridding our communities of this type of corruption. He began where it all started, in Compton. The Police Chief was fired for stealing city funds. The whole Police Department was disbanded shortly thereafter. I trust Guillory because he has the strength to represent his constituents without becoming corrupt as so many of our other leaders has.

VOTE FOR GUILLORY FOR CONGRESS, YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED.
