Since these cities have been designated as the most dangerous cities in America, Ombudsman International feels compelled to not just visit these cities, but to also walk the streets of the
neighborhoods at night.
The Ombudsman General strongly believes that poverty and crime are inter-related with the lack of jobs and financial opportunities. It was not surprising to the Ombudsman General that the
majority of the cities listed as "The Most Dangerous Cities in America" in 2005 happen to be cities plagued by failing educational opportunities, lack of jobs and failing housing programs.
More importantly, the Ombudsman General believes that the upcoming presidential election should not exclude strategic plans from all presidential hopefuls as to how these issues will be addressed
and dealt with.
Ombudsman International will meet with business owners, clergyman and elected officials in the effort to organize committees in each of the 25 cities before the presidential elections of
2008. Ombudsman International will also hold Town Hall Meetings in each city to recieve input from the taxpayers and residents of each respective city. It is paramount to Ombudsman
International that we listen to and act upon the ideas, needs, and suggestions that we recieve at these meetings in order to make their communities safer and more attractive to proposed financial
investors.
This campaign is an aggressive, strategic campaign for positive change. It is our goal, our mission, to prevent the presidential hopefuls from avoiding the issues that we have outlined:
Homelessness of working, educated and drug-free Americans, failure of the public educational institutions, immigration laws, institutional racism, classism, sexism and just plain old "isms".
Ombudsman International believes that AMERICANS CAN SAVE AMERICA! We will walk the streets, visit the churches, the halls and back alleys and liquor stores, searching for truth and seeking
resolutions for a better America.
